Leon is a small restaurant chain within London, England selling a contemporary fusion of Spanish, Mediterranean and North African flavours in what might be best described as street foods. The chain was started by Henry John and Allegra McEvedy back in 2004 starting with one restaurant in Carnaby Street which has now multiplied to the current eight restaurants across London. The success of the restaurants has lead to the publication of the chains official recipe book in 2008 titled Leon ingredients and recipes.

Whats in the Leon Cook Book

The Leon cook book is not simply another recipe book, the publication has two main sections. The first section gives a potted history of the business and outlines the principals of both the business and those involved in its conception and execution. The first section also gives a guide to the ingredients used in the restaurant and throughout the cook book. The ingredients section gives a general guide to the buying, storing and cooking of ingredients and is broken down thematically as one may expect.
